Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud claims that his French team-mate Hugo Lloris could consider a controversial move to rival club Arsenal from Tottenham Hotspur while talking to a French TV.

“We go out together and talk about everything,” Giroud revealed. “We talk about life and sometimes the French team a bit and our wish to have a great experience together at the World Cup.”

Giroud feels that Hugo Lloris will be more than eager to move across north London if Tottenham fail to qualify for Champions League next season.

“Have I asked him to join Arsenal? Yes, I have with Laurent Koscielny. He would have liked to, he would quite like to. You will have to ask him the question.”

Giroud was confident about France’s chances in the World Cup which is scheduled to start on June 12 in Brazil.

“We can go all the way. That means we are going there to bring the trophy back. Try to reach the moon and at worst you will reach the stars.”
