Jose Mourinho might not be happy

Hello and welcome to Tottenham transfer roundup for the day! Yes, as you may have guessed already, this has been another busy day for Spurs when it comes to transfer rumours.

#5 Youngster signs new deal

Spurs academy product Cameron Carter-Vickers has signed a new deal with Tottenham Hotspur and has expressed his delight with it.

“I’m delighted to sign a new contract,” Carter-Vickers told Tottenham’s official website.

“I’ve worked hard out on loan this season, trying to get as many minutes and games as I could. I feel like I’ve improved as a player and it’s definitely benefitted me, to be out at Sheffield United and Ipswich. I enjoyed my time at both clubs, the players there and coaching staff there have all been really helpful towards me and helped my development.

“In the Championship you play a lot of midweek games so getting used to playing every three or four days has been an eye-opener, both mentally and physically. It’s definitely a physical league, also very tough. Any team can beat any other team so you’ve really got to be on it every game you play, to try to get the points.”

#4 Youngster to move to Bundesliga

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City - Premier League 2
Spurs' talented starlet

Another academy product of Tottenham Hotspur is in the news today as Keanan Bennetts is on the verge of joining Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach, report TalkSport.

He is renowned for scoring insane goals and has an uncanny ability to devastate the opponents with his set-piece precision and technique. His mother is German, which is why he has played for Germany at youth level and this has paved way for him to play in Germany.

#3 Price of Tierney

Celtic v Aberdeen - Scottish Premier League
PL bound?

Kieran Tierney has caught the attention of Premier League clubs with his performances this season for Celtic. Both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest for him.

As a result, Celtic have slapped a price-tag on his head and his suitors will have to pay it if they want to sign him. According to the Daily Mail, the Scottish club want £30 million for their talented left-back.

#2 Man United to bid for Alderweireld

2018 EPL Premier League Football Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City May 13th
Bound to leave?

While this might seem like a repost of what was earlier reported, Manchester Evening News they now reiterate that Manchester United are ready to make a bid for him should Spurs decide to sell him in the summer.

He has a release clause of £25 million but it only becomes open for activation during the last 15 days of the 2019 transfer window and given that he is stalling to sign a new deal, Spurs could sell him.

#1 Bale back

Real Madrid v Celta de Vigo - La Liga
Flying off to PL?

Tottenham Hotspur could win the race to sign Gareth Bale if a report from Don Balon is to be believed. While Manchester United had previously shown interest in him, nothing has developed on that front for a while.

As a result, Spurs might be Bale’s next destination. Real Madrid want £100 million + £50 million in incentives but Spurs aren’t willing to pay anything more than £60 million + £30 million in incentives.
