Hello and welcome to the Tottenham transfer rumours for the day. We have got little updates regarding the North London club, which are as follows…
#5 Everton want Rose
This is as hilarious as it could get. Danny Rose had been previously linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer but according to Mirror, Everton have an eye on the Spurs left-back.
United’s interest in him waned due to his injury-ravaged season and as a result, Everton could sign him in the region of £37 million. He currently earns £60,000 per-week.
#4 Poch to hold Toby talks
Mauricio Pochettino suggested that talks with Toby Alderweireld about his future at the club will be held once the season ends.
"Of course. We are going to be ready from the moment we finish the season to talk about the important things for the next season,” he was quoted by Sports Mole.
"I think now we need to focus on finishing in the best way. Finishing third is the most important thing now. Then from Monday, we will talk about all that is going to happen next season.
"That is the moment. Now is not a moment to talk about individual situations."
#3 Man City intrude Tottenham’s approach
The subtitle might be taking things too far away using an assumption as the lone base, but according to a report from Mirror, Manchester City are going to make a £50 million bid for the Crystal Palace star.
Since Spurs have been linked with a summer move for the player, this is going to be bad news for the North London outfit. Zaha has been on Tottenham’s radar even before he completed a move to Manchester United.
#2 More intrusion by Man City
Mousa Dembele has been Spurs’ pillar in midfield for over the last few years. However, given that he is in his 30s, Tottenham might just let him go in the summer and Manchester City are one of the clubs interested in him.
While AC Milan also want him to join their club, Manchester City have also joined the race for the player who has decided to not renew his contract with the Lilywhites, according to CalcioMercato.
#1 Price for Sessegnon slapped
Ryan Sessegnon has taken the world by storm with his performances in the Championship this season and has attracted interest from a lot of top clubs, with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur among them.
There is, however, a report from The Sun claims that Fulham have slapped a £100 million price tag on the teenager’s head. Sessegnon was awarded as the Championship Player of the Year for his performances throughout the season.
