Eddie Howe shuts down claims that Bournemouth will sign Jack Butland in the summer
The Cherries have been heavily linked with a move for England international Jack Butland. However, Bournemouth manager Eddie How has now come out and shut down all such claims by stating that the club has not finalized their summer transfer plans.
Speaking to the press ahead of their weekend game against Southampton at St. Mary's, Howe said,
"We haven’t formulated any plans regarding transfer targets or anyone towards next year, we’re firmly looking at this season. I’ll have conversations with the owner and respective people at the club towards the close of the season where we’ll formulate our plans.
"As I said, without formulating our plans it’s ridiculous to think we’re considering any positions. It’s not the time for that at the moment, it’s time to concentrate on our next game."
