Mesut Ozil to snub new Arsenal contract in favour of move to Manchester United

In what has turned out to be quite the rollercoaster contract ride, latest developments seem to suggest that Mesut Ozil might just refuse to sign a contract extension at Arsenal, and will leave the club upon expiry of his contract in 10 months.

Latest reports from the Daily Express indicate that contract talks between Ozil and the Gunners have, in fact, broken down, and that the 28-year old now wishes to move to Manchester United on a free transfer next season, in a bid to link up with Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho - who he previously worked with at Real Madrid.

Super-agents try to coax Dele Alli with promises of big move

Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli recently parted ways with his former representatives and is in need of a new agent.

According to the Metro, Mino Raiola and Jorge Mendes are undoubtedly some of the biggest football agents in the world, and are now reportedly vying for the Englishman's signature.

In return, the super-agents are believed to be making promises of engineering a big move to either Real Madrid or Manchester United, as both individuals hold significant clout at these European giants.

Raiola represents a plethora of Manchester United stars like Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic among others. Meanwhile, Mendes represents the likes of Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Should Dele Alli sign with either agent, it's only a matter of time before a big money move is placed in his path to success.

Leon Goretzka in action for Germany

Arsenal step up pursuit for Leon Goretzka

After deploying scouts to monitor and assess Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka, Arsenal are now reportedly on the verge of building a formal pursuit for the 22-year old.

According to reports in the Mirror, Arsene Wenger has seen enough of Goretzka and is understood to be keen on bringing the German to the Emirates.

Other reports from Europe seem to suggest that Arsenal could be interested in recruiting Goretzka on a swap deal, which could see Mesut Ozil travel the other way as a makeweight.

Naby Keita to sign for Liverpool in January instead of June

After agreeing to sign for Liverpool in the summer of 2018, Naby Keita has continued plying his trade for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

However, the German side's poor performances in the UEFA Champions League has prompted many to believe that the deal could be pushed through in the January transfer window in 2018 itself, instead of the June 2018, as originally scheduled.

Jurgen Klopp will only be pleased if he can sign his man mid-way through the season, as Liverpool will require all the reinforcements they can find this season.

Juventus will be challenged for their clinical superstar Dybala

Manchester United plot massive £155 million bid for Paulo Dybala

The English Premier League giants have entered the race for Argentinian sensation Paulo Dybala, claim reports in the Daily Express. The 23-year old has been in exceptional form and has taken the world by storm with his performances for Juventus.

Dybala has predominantly been targeted by Catalan giants Barcelona, who wish for Dybala to step in as compatriot Lionel Messi's heir.

However, they could now face stiff competition, as Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has allegedly informed Dybala's representatives that Jose Mourinho would like to recruit the striker next season.

Inter Milan line-up Mesut Ozil - Joao Mario swap deal

Serie A giants Inter Milan were on a bolstering mission earlier this summer, and made a number of high-profile purchases in the transfer window. However, reports suggest that the Italian giants are far from done, and now want to sign Arsenal's contract rebel - Mesut Ozil.

Luciano Spalletti is understood to be fond of Ozil and could use Joao Mario as bait in a bid to lure Mesut Ozil over to the San Siro. Notably, Mario has been targeted by Arsene Wenger in the past, and could tip the scales in favour of Inter as they try and sign the German ace.

Asensio is expected to put pen to paper on a new contract at Real Madrid in the coming days

Real Madrid closely monitor Sadio Mane

According to reports emerging from Spain, the Los Blancos chiefs are said to be following Sadio Mane and monitoring his progress at Liverpool. With Gareth Bale almost always likely to leave, Madrid will require someone on the same level to replace the Welshman, should he bid farewell.

Liverpool's workhorse Sadio Mane is reportedly leading the contention, while Barcelona are also reportedly lurking for the 25-year old, following the departure of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.

Marco Asensio set to sign new Real Madrid contract

Real Madrid'd devout fans may now breathe a sigh of relief, as their sensational jewel - Marco Asensio is understood to be on the verge of signing a new contract.

The Spaniard's astronomical rise to prominence has brought some of Europe's top clubs to the yard, seeking to lure Asensio away.

All the attention has undoubtedly fazed the Los Blancos chiefs, who are desperate to protect the 21-year old from rival clubs, by inserting an indomitable release clause in Asensio's new contract.

According to the Daily Express, Asensio's new contract could include a staggering release clause of £442 million.

Could Edinson Cavani be on his way out from Paris Saint-Germain?

Manchester United and Chelsea named favourites to sign Edinson Cavani

Following a heated spat with new team-mate Neymar, Edinson Cavani has become subject to intense speculation over a potential move. After publicly fighting with the Brazilian, the Uruguayan has been linked with moves to English giants Chelsea and Manchester United.

While some reports suggested that Cavani would be offered to Real Madrid in January, latest reports from Manchester indicate that Chelsea and United, in fact, have the best odds at signing the striker at 5/1 and 6/1 respectively.

Paris Saint-Germain prepare swoop for Alexis Sanchez

Despite publicly expressing his desire to leave Arsenal in search of UEFA Champions League football, Alexis Sanchez was forced to stay at Arsenal after Arsene Wenger refused to allow the Chilean to move to rival side Manchester City.

Sanchez is now in the last year of his contract, and hasn't signed a new deal at the Emirates, prompting many to believe he would move to City on a free transfer next summer.

However, latest reports from Sky Sources claim that Paris Saint-Germain have renewed interest in the winger, after meeting him and his representatives earlier this summer.

The reports further claim that Sanchez had demanded an astonishing wage of £400,000-a-week, which the Parisians refused to indulge.

However, Unai Emery is believed to have promised a better wage than what Manchester City will offer the Chilean, and could well lure him to Paris in January instead.
