Marco Asensio set for crunch talks with Real Madrid
After netting Madrid's third goal against FC Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup, Marco Asensio is set to hold talks with the club's hierarchy. The 20-year-old wants a pay rise which will see him earn €5.5 million per year. Asensio, who scored 10 goals last season for Los Blancos, also wants assurances over his playing time, the Sun understands.
Carlos Bacca joins Villarreal
AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca has joined the Submarines on a season long loan deal. Villarreal will also have an option to buy him permanently next season for €15.5 million. They have parted with €2.5 million as a loan fee for Bacca's services. The Colombian scored 13 goals last season but with new faces arriving, he has fallen out of favour at the San Siro.
