FC Barcelona eyeing Christian Eriksen

The Spanish giants are actively looking to sign a playmaker next summer and are also rumoured to go back for Philippe Coutinho with an improved deal. But folks at Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Barcelona will try and lure Christian Eriksen away from Tottenham Hotspur if a move for Coutinho proves too difficult to pursue.

Eriksen is one of Spurs' integral characters under Mauricio Pochettino and will take a huge sum for FC Barcelona to prize him away. But the Danish playmaker may force the issue with Spurs not offering the midfielder a high salary. Meanwhile, the Spanish daily also reports that Juventus are also tracking Eriksen's situation in North London.

Denis Suarez wants to fight for his place at FC Barcelona

Despite starting just two games for Barcelona this season, the former Villarreal man is happy to fight for a place in the starting lineup. Reports had suggested that the 23-year-old is looking for a move away from Camp Nou for regular playing time. But Suarez has revealed to Mundo Deportivo that he intends to stay at FC Barcelona for "many years to come."
