L'Equipe claims that Monaco want over £50 million for Benjamin Mendy which is a lot higher than their original demand of £40 million. But the Citizens are keen on signing Mendy and willing to pay the required amount to take the fullback on board.

Jason Denayer wants a return to Galatasaray

After a disappointing loan spell at Sunderland last season, Manchester City's Jason Denayer now wants to leave the club permanently. Talksport reveals that the Belgium defender wants a return to the Turkish club where he plied his trade two years ago. City are ready to sell him and will not come in his way if Galatasaray make a decent enough bid for him.
