Real Madrid's January transfer targets revealed

According to AS, Real Madrid are looking to stick to their policy of signing young Spanish talents this January in order to provide Zinedine Zidane with enough options in the squad. It is reported that Athletic Bilbao's Kepa Arrizabalaga and Real Sociedad's Alvaro Odriozola are high on Madrid's wishlist.

Kepa has a release clause of €20 million in January and is being touted as Los Blancos' long-term no.1 goalkeeper. Zidane also wants a right back to provide cover for Carvajal which will, in turn, help to send the young Achraf Hakimi on loan. They have identified Odriozola who is available for a sum of €40 million.

Sevilla's chairman breaks his silence on Steven N'Zonzi rumours

Arsenal and Liverpool target, Steven N'Zonzi was spotted in London today which sparked the rumours of his January exit from Sevilla. But the club chairman has revealed that he was in the England capital to meet his son and not for discussing his future with any club.

N'Zonzi has fallen out with the Sevilla coaching staff and has not played a game for the side since Sevilla's 3-3 draw with Liverpool last month. The chairman admitted to the fight between the player and the manager but hoped that the issue would soon be resolved.

Alessandro Del Piero wants Emre Can at Juventus

Former Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero has urged the Bianconeri to sign the soon-to-be-free-agent, Emre Can in January. Juventus have struggled with form and fitness issues from their midfielders and Del Piero believes that Can is the perfect solution for his former side.

Speaking with Sky Sport Italia, Del Piero said,

"Emre Can of Liverpool will be ideal, and he’s not even that expensive. He could be the big name for Juve in January. They need somebody like him. He’s physically present and somebody like Emre Can would fit in very well with Pjanic and Khedira.”

Ivan Perisic reveals why he snubbed Manchester United

Jose Mourinho's interest in Ivan Perisic last summer is well documented. Manchester United had made a bid for the Croatian winger but the bid fell on deaf ears of Inter Milan.

After scoring a hattrick in a 5-0 win over Chievo, Perisic told the reporters that he rejected Manchester United because of a meeting with manager Luciano Spalletti where he was told that he would have a big role to play for Inter Milan this season.

Sky Sports understands that RasenBal Sport Leipzig are interested in signing the 18-year-old Swedish goalkeeper, Pontus Dahlberg. The teenager has impressed for IFK Gothenburg and has caught the attention of the likes of Watford and Napoli as well. Dahlberg played 29 league matches for Gothenburg last season after emerging on the scene in 2016.

Arjen Robben felt moving to Bayern Munich was a step backwards

The Dutch winger joined Bayern Munich in 2009 from Real Madrid. In an interview with UEFA's official website, Robben has said that initially, he thought that joining the Bavarians was a step taken backwards in his playing career.

But the 33-year-old crowd favourite at Bayern also said that moving to Germany soon proved to be the best decision of his life as his scepticism was proved wrong by the club.

Lionel Messi rejected a £850,000 per week offer from Manchester City

FC Barcelona stalwart Lionel Messi recently signed an extension with the club, putting to bed all rumours of his exit from the Catalan club. But Marca has claimed that Messi had a humongous offer on the table from Manchester City which he chose to reject in order to prolong his career in La Liga.

The report stated that Messi rejected an offer of £850,000 per week wage deal from Manchester City and instead, signed a £500,000 per week contract with Barcelona. Pep Guardiola's side had also offered the Argentine a €100 million signing on bonus which also could not tempt Messi to leave Camp Nou for the Etihad.

Sam Allardyce wants Patrick Van Aanholt

The Daily Star has reported that Sam Allardyce has identified his first signing with Everton and it is going to be a familiar face for Big Sam. The Toffees boss is set to target Crystal Palace left-back, Patrick Van Aanholt in January. Allardyce is eyeing a reunion with the Dutchman with the fullback previously playing under Allardyce at Sunderland and Crystal Palace.
