Uncertainty about Messi's future at FC Barcelona is increasing with each passing day with the Argentine closing in on the final year of his contract. But, he has refused to be drawn in to talks about his future as he maintains that he is solely focused on his side's next game.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner said, "I don’t know what’s going to happen in the coming years or how I’m going to feel. I live from day to day. I am not focused on the future.”

This statement may come as a bit of a blow to the Catalans who seemed pretty confident that Messi would sign a new deal.

Atletico Madrid willing to let Antoine Griezmann leave

In a surprising advancement in Antonie Griezmann's future, AS has claimed that Atletico Madrid have given the Frenchman the green light to leave next summer. The Colchoneros believe that speculations surrounding the Frenchman's future have prevented him from performing at the highest level with the 26-year-old scoring just two league goals this season. Manchester United are keen on signing the forward who has a €100 million release for a brief period in the summer.

It was rumoured that if RB Leipzig crashed out of the Champions League from the group stages, Liverpool would be eligible to sign the Guinean midfielder in January itself. But the club's sporting director, Ralf Rangnick has rejected any such claims. Rangnick told Leipziger Volkszeitung, "Even if we should not reach the knockout stages of Champions League, it would make no sense to allow Naby to join Liverpool earlier. We want to qualify for Europe again and we need Naby for that.”

Leon Goretzka agrees to personal terms with FC Barcelona

Mundo Deportivo reports that FC Barcelona have agreed upon personal terms with Leon Goretzka ahead of a potential January move. The other managers on Everton's radar are Sam Allardyce, Marco Silva and Wolves' Nuno Santo.
