Pep Guardiola wants to bring Lyon defender Mouctar Diakhaby

Pep wants to make a move for the centre-back in January, according to The Sun. The 20-year-old ticks all the boxes of a Guardiola centre-back with his slick movement and the ability to think quick on his feet.

Diakhaby was impressive against Everton in the midweek Europa League fixture against Everton. With Kompany's fitness proving to be a constant source of headache for Pep, Manchester City will try to swoop him up as early as January.
