Arsenal to hand Danny Welbeck a new deal
In case you forgot, Danny Welbeck is still at Arsenal. The English striker has been out injured for some time and his contract at Emirates was set to expire this summer.
Reports in Daily Mirror now suggest that the Gunners are set to offer him a new deal – something they were not willing to before he got injured. The former Manchester United striker was not in Unai Emery's plans as per previous reports but things seem to have changed at the club.
West Ham United, Newcastle United and Everton were keeping tabs on the Englishman and were ready to pounce on him in the summer. However, it looks like they will have to negotiate a deal with Arsenal when the window opens if they still want Welbeck at their respective clubs next season.
