Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen's current contract expires in the summer of 2020. However, reports from The Daily Mail claim that Eriksen isn't keen on signing an extension as he is believed to be exploring his options.

As per the report, as well as one from Spanish publication AS, Eriksen's agent spoke about the matter recently, but remained coy about the 26-year-old's future, as he said:

I would prefer not to comment on issues of contracts and transfers, Christian would like to focus on his football, it was his concentration, along with his football qualities, what has taken him to this very high level, we will see what the future brings.

Further, a source close to the star reportedly said that an extension agreement with Spurs is looking "very, very difficult".

The reports suggest that Real Madrid - who have been linked with Eriksen recently - are leading the race with an 11/4 chance of signing the Danish star. Barcelona reportedly stand the second-best chance at 10/1. In joint-third place sit Manchester United - the Premier League side with the best chance - and Paris Saint-Germain, with odds of 16/1.

Zenit Saint Petersburg's 24-year-old Leandro Parades has been making waves due to his performances for the Russian club.

Resultingly, he is believed to have been on Premier League giants, Chelsea's, radar for a while now, as the Blues had reportedly submitted a first offer believed to be worth £26.8 million, which was subsequently shot down by the club, who reportedly value the midfielder at £36 million.

Now, according to reports from The Sun, Chelsea are still very intent on signing him as a potential replacement for Cesc Fabregas. The report claims that Chelsea have now submitted an improved second bid of £31.2 million, and are confident of signing their man.

Further, the report suggests that Chelsea have already prepared a four-and-a-half-year contract which will reportedly see Paredes earn £80,000 per week. An agreement between the two clubs on a fee is believed to be the only remaining formality before Chelsea officially sign the 24-year-old.

If reports from Metro are to be believed, the new Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, seems to be wasting no time. The new boss has reportedly identified a potential transfer target in PSV's 21-year-old Steven Bergwijn and is believed to have sent scouts to watch the winger ahead of a £25 million bid.

Solskjaer reportedly views Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford as natural strikers and allegedly wants an out-and-out winger to bolster the side's attack as the Red Devils look to overcome their challenges, seeking a top-four finish.

The Norwegian manager will reportedly have the youngster watched closely in his next couple of games before an official bid is submitted.

After arriving at Barcelona for a whopping fee of £142 million just this past summer, Philippe Coutinho has seemingly struggled to find consistent form. Now, several reports claim that he could soon be on his way out, with Manchester United believed to be interested.

As per reports from Mundo Deportivo (via The Daily Express), the Red Devils have already made contact with the player's agent to inquire about a potential move. The reports also suggest that Barcelona might be open to selling the Brazilian for a bargain fee of €100 million, despite paying 1.4 times as much for him just last year.

Brexit 'no deal' could force Gareth Bale out of Real Madrid

Future uncertain
Future uncertain

According to reports from ESPN, superstar Gareth Bale's future at Real Madrid is as uncertain as ever, with the impending resolution of the Brexit situation (slated to happen on the 29th of March).

Should the United Kingdom leave the European Union in the case of a 'no deal' Brexit, Bale, as well as 800,000 other British citizens working in other European countries could lose their right to work in those countries.

While the Withdrawal Agreement capable of preventing such a situation was drawn up in November 2018, it remains unclear as to whether it will be ratified by the British Parliament.

When Bale's agent was contacted regarding the 29-year-old's future, he said that they "would wait and see what happens". He also said that it was "impossible to plan" amidst the current chaotic nature of the situation.
