It is understood that Real Madrid have taken a liking for Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and are looking to bring him to the Bernabeu this summer. Los Blancos were reportedly planning a €200 million bid for the Egyptian forward.

But Don Balon has now claimed that Real Madrid are looking to use Lucas Vazquez as a deal sweetener to reduce the price of Europe's most wanted man. Liverpool have monitored Vazquez in the past as Real Madrid are looking to take advantage of their interest in the Spanish winger.

Florentino Perez wants Gareth Bale to stay

In a surprising turn of events, the Sun has reported that club supremo Florentino Perez has had a change of heart and now wants Gareth Bale to stay at Real Madrid beyond this season. Bale has not featured in crucial European games this season and has had his influence reduced under Zinedine Zidane.

The Welshman has been linked with a move back to Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United interested in the forward.

The Liverpool contract rebel has finally come to a decision over his future. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Emre Can has agreed to sign for Juventus this summer.

The Italian daily reports that the German midfielder will sign a five year deal in Turin and will earn €6 million per year in wages.

Carlo Ancelotti rejects the chance to manage Italy

After a meeting with the Italian FA chief Fabricini Costacurta, the former Chelsea manager has reportedly turned down a chance to become the manager of Italy. Corriere Dello Sport has reported that Ancelotti recently met Costacurta in Rome and made his stance clear.

Ancelotti believes that he still has some years left in him to manage a top club before venturing into the national team setup.

After Jupp Heynckes, it was the turn of former Bayern Munich and Germany great Lothar Matthaus to claim that Robert Lewandowski will not be moving to Real Madrid this summer. The striker has been linked with a move away from Munich and has even hired a new agent to engineer his transfer to Madrid.

But Lothar Matthaus told Goal, "According to the information I have, Real Madrid is not interested in Lewandowski."

Huddersfield Town monitor Leon Balogun

The Terriers have started preparing for the next season and have identified a defensive reinforcement. The Sun has reported that Huddersfield Town are looking to sign Mainz defender Leon Balogun in the summer.

The 29-year-old German can play as a centre back and as a fullback. He will be a free agent come July.

Manchester United plan Griezmann-Pogba swap deal

The Red Devils and Jose Mourinho, in particular, may look to get rid of Paul Pogba this summer. Don Balon understands that Manchester United are looking to use Pogba in a swap deal with Atletico Madrid which will enable them to sign Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann has long been linked with a move to United and may finally be seen in the Premier League if his current side decides to take Pogba on board. Griezmann has a release clause of €100 million before the end of the World Cup.

Roberto Firmino signs a new deal with Liverpool

The club recently announced that Roberto Firmino has signed a new five year deal with the club. An integral member of Jurgen Klopp's setup, Firmino has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season.

After penning a new deal, Firmino said, "It was an easy decision. I love to play for Liverpool FC. The fans are excellent and fantastic in how they support us all the way."

Eddie Howe believes that a move to the Cherries would be beneficial for Tierney as the left back can get regular playing time at the Vitality stadium. He is valued at £20 million by Celtic.
