Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery to be offered new Bayern Munich deals
After winning their sixth Bundesliga title on the trot, the Bavarians are keen to award extensions to two of their longest serving players Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. Both of their current deals expire this July.
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has admitted to Bild that talks have begun with all the respective parties and the announcement of a renewal would be made soon.
Arsenal monitor Sokratis Papastathopoulos
The Borussia Dortmund centre-back has reportedly been scouted by Arsenal who plan to take the Greek defender to the Emirates next season. Sokratis has made 26 appearances for Dortmund this season and has previously been linked with Manchester United and Juventus, Talksport understands.
Arsenal are in the market for a centre-back this summer with Per Mertesacker set to hang up his boots and the future of Shkodran Mustafi still up in the air.
