Manchester United favourites to land Paulo Dybala

After the Independent ran a story claiming that Juventus have issued a £140 million valuation of Paulo Dybala, the Daily Mirror has now claimed that Manchester United are ready to pay the mentioned amount in the summer. Jose Mourinho is keen on landing Dybala before the next season and is ready to pay over the top and beat Real Madrid to his signature.

Dybala has often been linked with a move away from Turin and may truly be in his last season with the Bianconeri. UK's betting site, Ladbrokes have also slashed the odds of United signing the Argentine no.10 to just 5/4.

West Ham United closing in on Alfie Mawson

ESPN has reported that David Moyes is close to making Swansea City's Alfie Mawson his first signing with the Hammers. Moyes is eyeing players with Premier League experience and he feels that Mawson fits the bill perfectly.

The 23-year-old is also reportedly ready to leave the sinking ship at the Liberty stadium with West Ham set to make a £25 million bid for the centre back.

Arsenal's bid for Mehdi Benatia rejected

After conceding 23 league goals this season, Arsene Wenger has decided to rope in a central defender this January. The Londoners had decided to try their luck with Juventus and had made a £30 million bid for Mehdi Benatia.

But according to Calciomercato, Juventus have rejected advances from the Gunners as the Italian champions view Benatia as an integral member of the side. The 30-year-old has been a regular for Juventus this season after the departure of Leonardo Bonucci.

Aleix Vidal open to AS Roma switch

Vidal has found it tough to crack a starting berth at FC Barcelona since the arrival of Ernesto Valverde. He has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou since the past summer with AS Roma keeping tabs on the fullback.

His agent, Ruggero Lacerenza has now confirmed to Tele Radio Sereno that Roma are ready to take the 28-year-old on board with the player also thinking about the offer seriously. Atletico Madrid are also reportedly monitoring the scene.

Kimmich to sign an extension with Bayern Munich

No offers for Leon Bailey

Despite a range of Premier League clubs being reported to be in the queue for Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey, the club's manager has today revealed that no club has approached them over a big money offer for the winger. Leverkusen have also maintained that Bailey will not be sold this January.

Talking to Kicker, Jonas Boldt, the club's general manager said, "There is no offer for Leon and there are no thoughts of selling him. His contract runs until 2022. We are in control of the situation."

Bayern Munich to offer Joshua Kimmich a new improved deal

The Bavarians are looking to tie down Joshua Kimmich to a new long-term contract in order to fend off Manchester City interest. Kimmich is believed to be the future of Bayern Munich by the club hierarchy and the German giants have hence offered him a new deal which will keep him at the club until 2023.

SportBild also understands that Kimmich is happy with the wage structure and will sign on the dotted line after the winter break.

Manchester United clear the way for FC Barcelona

Manchester United end interest in Antoine Griezmann

In a major boost to FC Barcelona's transfer ambitions, Jose Mourinho has called it quits over Manchester United's pursuit of Antoine Griezmann. The French forward was linked with both the mentioned sides but United's backtracking has cleared the way for the Catalans.

Marca has reported that Mourinho was not keen on having Griezmann in his side despite Ed Woodward feeling the opposite. The path is now clear for Barcelona to sign Griezmann for around €100 million.

Athletic Bilbao unsure about Kepa Arrizabalaga's future

Bilbao's custodian has been the talk of the town recently with Real Madrid and PSG both keen on landing Kepa. Club president Jose Urrutia has now claimed that Athletic Bilbao have offered a new deal to the goalkeeper and are ready to make him one of the highest earners at the club. But Urrutia has also admitted that the youngster is yet to respond to their offer.

Cenk Tosun - Sam Allardyce's first Everton signing

Everton close to announcing the arrival of Cenk Tosun

Everton are finally closing in on a direct replacement for Romelu Lukaku in the form of Cenk Tosun. The Besiktas hitman has reportedly agreed personal terms with Everton and is expected to arrive on English shores in the first week of January.

The Toffees are set to pay £20 million for the striker and £5 million plus in add-ons. Tosun has already scored 14 goals this season and will sign a four and a half year deal at Goodison Park.

Fabio Capello set to leave Jiangsu Suning in 2018

Former Real Madrid and England manager, Fabio Capello has today revealed that he will leave the Chinese Super League after the end of his contract in 2018. He joined Jiangsu Suning last summer but has now set his sights on another European trail. The 71-year-old has recently been linked with the Italian and AC Milan hot seat.
