Kimmich to sign an extension with Bayern Munich

No offers for Leon Bailey

Despite a range of Premier League clubs being reported to be in the queue for Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey, the club's manager has today revealed that no club has approached them over a big money offer for the winger. Leverkusen have also maintained that Bailey will not be sold this January.

Talking to Kicker, Jonas Boldt, the club's general manager said, "There is no offer for Leon and there are no thoughts of selling him. His contract runs until 2022. We are in control of the situation."

Bayern Munich to offer Joshua Kimmich a new improved deal

The Bavarians are looking to tie down Joshua Kimmich to a new long-term contract in order to fend off Manchester City interest. Kimmich is believed to be the future of Bayern Munich by the club hierarchy and the German giants have hence offered him a new deal which will keep him at the club until 2023.

SportBild also understands that Kimmich is happy with the wage structure and will sign on the dotted line after the winter break.
