Real Madrid are not ready to pay such a huge amount to Ronaldo and this decision was reportedly taken by Florentino Perez in a recent meeting at his office. The club supremo is not happy with the player's demands and may look to sell him in the summer with Manchester United interested.

Sergi Roberto signs new FC Barcelona deal

After Gerrard Pique, it was the turn of Sergi Roberto to pen a new deal and secure his future with FC Barcelona. The new contract will see Roberto in the Catalan colours until 2022. Roberto now has a release clause of a staggering £441 million.

Coming through the academy, the utility player has gone on to become a crucial player for the club, making 178 appearances since his debut in 2011.

Yesterday, it was revealed that Chelsea are interested in making a move for AS Roma's Edin Dzeko this month. The Blues are in the market for a striker and have been linked with new faces every other day. On the Chelsea rumours, Irfan Redzepagic, Dzeko's agent has revealed that the West London club have so far made no approach for the striker.

Speaking to Romagiollorossa, he said, "No, I don't know anything about this. I've no information to that effect. The truth is that Dzeko wants to stay at Roma. My role is not to reveal certain dynamics of the market. All I can say is that Conte likes Dzeko. But who doesn't like Edin?"

Premier League duo looking at Adam Masina

Crystal Palace and West Ham United are set to go head to head for the signing of Bologna's highly rated left back - Adam Masina. The 24-year-old Moroccan has impressed in Serie A so far and is considered by many as the one of the best in his position in the league at the moment.

The Sun reports that both the clubs are looking to sign a left back this month and have identified the 6ft 3in Bologna man to solve their defensive woes. Bologna recently rejected a £15 million bid from the Hammers with the club looking to cash in on their emerging star.

Leon Goretzka completes a move to Bayern Munich

Christian Heidel, the Schalke sporting director has today announced at a press conference that Leon Goretzka has decided to join Bayern Munich in the summer and has passed a medical at his future club. Goretzka was linked with a move to the Premier League but chose to stay put in the Bundesliga with the Bavarians.

He will complete his contract with Schalke and join Bayern Munich on July 1. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Munich's CEO and Jupp Heynckes have welcomed the move.

Jupp Heynckes slams Pierre Emerick Aubameyang

The Bavarian head coach has criticized Borussia Dortmund's Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and has called him "selfish" for all his antics to secure a move abroad while talking to the press. Heynckes also insisted that he would never sign players of Aubameyang's ilk.

The Gabon international has come under serious criticism for his stance on his future at Dortmund. He has been dropped from the team for disciplinary reasons and has not been included in today's matchday squad against Schalke.

The soon to be 37-year-old recently signed a year-long contract in November but the Blues are reportedly looking at him as a six-month stop-gap solution.

Arsenal have been dealt a major transfer blow with the Sun reporting that the French club has now decided against selling their top asset this month. Malcom was seen as a direct replacement for the seemingly Manchester United-bound Alexis Sanchez with the Gunners preparing a £40 million bid for the winger.

But Bordeaux are currently struggling in Ligue 1 and after a run of just two wins in 13 matches, the club has sacked manager Jocelyn Gourvennec. The club hierarchy believes Malcom is necessary to their cause of safety and hence won't be selling him this month.

Mario Balotelli linked with a return to AC Milan

Gazzetta Dello Sport understands that AC Milan could make a move for the mercurial Mario Balotelli in the summer. The talented striker was sold by the Rossoneri but has regained his lost touch at Nice.

Balotelli has found his scoring boots in France and has been the club's top scorer since joining them. Milan are in search of a striker and may give another chance to Super Mario.
