Manchester United end interest in Danny Rose

The Telegraph writes that Jose Mourinho has ended his interest in Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose. United boss has reportedly told the club bosses to instead focus on bringing in a top class central defender.

Mourinho believes that after the arrival of Diogo Dalot, who can play on both the flanks, another fullback signing is not required. Manchester United already have Luke Shaw and Ashley Young competing for the left back spot.

Burnley target two West Bromwich Albion players

The Clarets are looking to wrap up their summer business quickly and have tabled a £25 million bid for Craig Dawson and Jay Rodriguez.

Burnley are eyeing the two relegated players for a cut-price deal ahead of their Europa League campaign, the Mirror understands. West Brom have already sold Jonny Evans and will play hardball over Dawson's transfer.
