Cristiano Ronaldo makes an enquiry about the Chinese Super League
Currently enjoying a free-scoring bit of form at the moment, Cristiano Ronaldo's latest advancement may not be good news for Real Madrid.
Luiz Felipe Scolari, Ronaldo's former manager at Portugal has claimed that the Portuguese hitman has enquired about life in China and the prospects of playing in the CSL. Scolari has managed the Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua in the recent past.
Scolari was quoted by Esporte Interativo as saying, "He has asked me more than once what life in China is like, Cristiano Ronaldo. Yes, he asked me what it's like to live in China, I gave him all the details. Then I told him what I always say: whoever has this opportunity has to go to China.”
PSG enter Toby Alderweireld race
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been alerted by Toby Alderweireld's contractual standoff at Spurs and are now ready to rival Manchester United and FC Barcelona for the defender's services, as per reports from The Daily Telegraph.
Alderweireld has declined to sign an extension until he is guaranteed a pay rise which the club does not agree to. He has a £25 million release clause, which could be triggered in the summer of 2019, which the North Londoners want to avoid and are hence ready to offload him at the end of the season.
