Not going anywhere?
Turkish club Fenerbahce have now confirmed that they will not be making a move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil as it is not viable for them from an 'economic' point of view. Ozil, who is out of favour at Arsenal and still on very high wages, has been tipped for a move away from North London this summer.

However, that might just fail to work out as clubs are put off by his wage demands. Mesut Ozil currently earns £350,000-per-week at Arsenal. Those are numbers that only very few clubs can afford.
Fenerbahce revealed in a statement on their official website,
Mesut Özil, with his career and stance successfully represents our country abroad, is an important value known with the identity of Fenerbahce.
However, Fenerbahce does not have an initiative for Mesut Ozil. Under the current economic conditions, such a step is not possible for both parties.
