Jadon Sancho is one of Manchester United's top transfer targets this summer. The club hasn't had an out and out right winger for several years now and is looking to address that problem this summer by signing Jadon Sancho.

However, the very reliable David Ornstein has now revealed that the Borussia Dortmund youngster might not join Manchester United as he wants to play in the UEFA Champions League.

Ornstein said that Manchester United is indeed the Englishman's preferred destination. However, he is torn now since the Red Devils failed to qualify for the elite European competition.

Speaking to BBC 5 Live, Ornstein revealed,

“The big one which not many people have spoken about is Jadon Sancho,” Ornstein told BBC 5 Live.

“Now Jadon Sancho is among the top targets at Manchester United I understand. And Manchester United would be his preferred option if he was to come back and return to the Premier League during this transfer window.
“I'm told that a couple of months ago this was looking like it would be nailed on. However, he [Sancho] is reluctant to give up Champions League football.
“He is reluctant to join an unstable club. He wants stability and he wants to win things. I'm told never say never but as things stand it's 50/50 on that one.”
