Unai Emery wants to replace Mesut Ozil with James Rodriguez at Arsenal
Arsenal's Mesut Ozil has visibly struggled under new manager, Unai Emery, and has even been left on the bench several times this season. In fact, the German superstar has only played six full Premier League matches for the Gunners so far this season.
Now, Emery has reportedly grown tired of Ozil's presence and is understood to be keen on offloading him. If reports from The Daily Star are to be believed, the Spanish tactician reportedly wants to ship Ozil out and bring in Real Madrid's James Rodriguez (currently on loan at Bayern Munich) as his replacement.
James is currently approaching the last quarter of his two-year loan deal at Bayern, but the Bavarians are allegedly willing to let him go if Arsenal agree to pay the £3 million fee that Bayern owe Madrid for the next few months of James' loan deal.
