Zinedine Zidane has been vying for a Pogba deal all summer and has admitted publicly to fancying him. Manchester United, however, are under no pressure to sell and will not sell the Frenchman for less than €180 million. Despite this, there's a feeling that an agreement can be reached.
Florentino Perez had earlier told Zidane that signing Pogba could be tricky. However, Marco Asensio's injury has now made Pogba's signing more of a necessity and as such, the club is now willing to break the bank to sign the World Cup winner.
Having already spent a large amount of money this transfer window, Real Madrid will need to offload some players to comply with the FFP regulations.
