Real Madrid are now growing increasingly confident of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United before the summer transfer window shuts, as per latest reports. The report claims that the news was broken to them by sources at the club.

Zinedine Zidane has been vying for a Pogba deal all summer and has admitted publicly to fancying him. Manchester United, however, are under no pressure to sell and will not sell the Frenchman for less than €180 million. Despite this, there's a feeling that an agreement can be reached.

Florentino Perez had earlier told Zidane that signing Pogba could be tricky. However, Marco Asensio's injury has now made Pogba's signing more of a necessity and as such, the club is now willing to break the bank to sign the World Cup winner.

Having already spent a large amount of money this transfer window, Real Madrid will need to offload some players to comply with the FFP regulations.
