Former Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia has left the club and joined Liga de Quito, a club in his home country, Ecuador after spending 11 years in England. Valencia was released at the start of the summer and now Liga de Quito have signed him on a free transfer.

Ecuador were recently eliminated from the Copa America. Within days after their exit, Valencia has now taken a big step in the final chapter of his career.
The club announced the signing on its official website and said,
"One of the most celebrated players in Ecuadorian football history, Luis Antonio Valencia is a new Guerrero Albo,"
"The man who was captain of Manchester United at the start of the 2017-18 season and who said farewell with honours after a successful 10-year spell in the Premier League returns to Ecuadorian football as a living legend.
