Jasper Cillessen desperate to leave Barcelona
Barcelona's second-choice goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen who has mostly featured for them in the Copa Del Rey wants to leave the club in the summer. Cillessen has grown increasingly frustrated playing second-fiddle to Marc Andre ter-Stegen
Cillessen told Ziggo Sports,
”First I will go on holiday and then I hope to have a new club where I can play, because I want to play.”
Despite wanting to leave the club, Cillessen has encouraged Matthijs De Ligt, one of Barcelona's top transfer targets this time around, to take a chance and join Barcelona.
“I know Frenkie de Jong is coming, but is the De Ligt thing true?
“In any case, if you have the chance to go to Barcelona, you have to take advantage of it.”
Cillessen has only made 28 appearances for Barcelona after joining in 2016 on a £11 million deal from Ajax.
