Boateng to stay put

Bayern manager Niko Kovac has announced that Jerome Boateng will not be leaving the club this summer, despite the player expressing his desire to leave. Boateng was linked with a move to PSG and Manchester United, but both of them collapsed eventually.

"I can't tell you what's going to happen, but I am very confident about Bayern considering the way the team is conducting itself. Right now, I am just assuming all the players will be here in September. I am very comfortable about the situation, the squad is complete," Kovac explained.

Bayern Munich transfer plans revealed

Sport Bild's Christian Falk recently spoke about Bayern's transfer plans this summer. He announced that the club were interested in signing as many as four players this summer, including Christian Pulisic, Malcom and Leon Bailey. "The club watched Pulisic, Bailey and Malcom. Malcom is at Barcelona. Pulisic and Bailey prefer the Premier League. Bayern already bought Alphonso Davies. With Gnabry and Coman there are also two young players in the squad. Perhaps nothing happens until 2019 for the wing position," he claimed.

He also confirmed that Christian Pavard will be a part of the side from 2019. "The club has already made the deal perfect, but the statutes do not allow them to officially confirm it now. Pavard will certainly play for Bayern from 2019."
