Twitter explodes as Liverpool defeat AFC Bournemouth to go top of the table

Liverpool's offensive power delivered another example of true domination as they defeated AFC Bournemouth with a delightful 3-0 score line to go three points clear at the top of the Premier League again.

Jurgen Klopp made a few changes as James Milner started with likes of Naby Keita, Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum. Mohammed Salah made another appearance for the Reds with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in the support.

Liverpool totally outlasted Bournemouth in front of their home fans. They started the game in a positive manner and created a few brilliant chances to ensure Boruc made some terrific saves. Sadio Mane opened the scoreline for Liverpool as his header went into the Bournemouth's net following a corner taken by right-back James Milner.

Wijnaldum followed that up with a beautiful dink over Boruc to double his side's advantage. After the second goal, both teams managed to create unworthy chances.

In the second half, Liverpool gifted another solid performance as their main man Mohammed Salah scored the third goal of this match at the 48th minute of the match. Roberto Firmino's gorgeous pass found the Egyptian, and he made no mistake to put the game beyond doubt.

Liverpool continued their winning run at Anfield and are now on 65 points from their 26 fixtures. Bournemouth meanwhile, are down to 11th position in the points table as they have bagged 33 points after playing 16 games.

More importantly, the Reds replied in splendid fashion as they were dominant on all fronts. Their speedy counter-attacking football created a large number of chances in front of Bournemouth goal.

Liverpool, who have conceded only 15 goals this season, underlined the strength of their defence once again. Up next for them in the league is a mouth-watering fixture against arch-rivals Manchester United.
