After rivals Real Madrid became the first club ever to successfully defend the FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday, Barcelona had to step up when they faced Deportivo de La Coruna the next day. The Catalan club did exactly what was expected of them and won the game 4-0.Surprisingly, Lionel Messi was not on the scoresheet for Barcelona despite being on the pitch throughout the game. It was Luis Suarez and Paulinho who scored two goals each for the Ernesto Valverde-managed side.Messi did not fail to gain attention even though he did not score on the night. The Argentine became the highlight of the night after he was denied by the woodwork three times and even missed a penalty. The 30-year-old hit the post in the 36th, 40th and 66th minute of the game, while his 69th-minute penalty was saved by Deportivo goalkeeper Ruben Martinez.Twitter was on fire after the match and let's have a look at the some of the tweets on the game:?
