Twitter explodes as Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates 5th Ballon d'Or by thrashing Sevilla

Real Madrid turned on the heat as they put in their best performance of the season - by far - and swatted away Sevilla with utter impudence, Cristiano Ronaldo - winner of a record-equalling 5th Ballon d'Or and self-declared 'Greatest Player in History' - doing things that he hadn't been in doing the league for a long, long, time.

Real Madrid beat Sevilla 5-0; Toni Kroos, Hakimi Achraf, and Nacho Fernandez all got in on the party, but this was all about the King.

And with one performance he ensure that the Messi-Ronaldo comparison would remain centre stage

Ronaldo has 14 goals in 19 games this season while Messi has 17 in 22 games, One is having the worst start to his season in his entire career one had the best start to his season. Imagine competing with someone like Ronaldo, Don't know how Messi is keeping up with him
