Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw at Valencia in a highly controversial game. The Catalan side had the ball behind the line in the first half but the referees failed to spot it and denied Messi a clean goal.
Rodrigo then gave Valencia the lead in the 60th minute. It took a screamer from Jordi Alba for the league leaders to equalise and go home with a point.
