Twitter reacts after Arsenal and Manchester United swap Alexis and Mkhitaryan

After two weeks of speculation and delays, it finally happened - a swap deal in the Premier League. Arsenal and Manchester United completed a deal which saw Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez move to Old Trafford while Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan went the other way to the Emirates.

Both players, 29, were unhappy with the status quo at their respective clubs before the switch. Alexis only had six months left on his contract while Mkhitaryan had two-and-a-half years left on his deal.

Both players were thrilled to make the switch - Alexis stating that he had always wanted to play for United while Mkhitaryan has always been an Arsenal fan.
