Twitter reacts as Arsenal falter against Brighton

Brighton and Hove Albion v Southampton - Premier League
Dunk and Murray handed Arsenal another loss

It was another miserable day for Arsenal as they lost their fourth game in the past month to Brighton & Hove Albion. Lewis Dunk gave Brighton the lead in the 7th minute following a defensive mistake by Arsenal.

It was upwards for the home team after the opening goal and they doubled their lead when a Pascal Gross ball found Glenn Murray in the box who headed it in. Wenger's side got back just before halftime when Aubameyang scored from a Xhaka pass following the recovery of the ball by Alex Iwobi.

The goal gave Arsenal a lift heading into the second half as they were looking for an equalizer. A hard collision between Kolasinac and Schelotto lead to a delay in the game but the Seagulls' fullback didn't suffer any serious injury and had to walk off. The Gunners showed intent going forward but failed to find any real chances for Aubameyang and the rest of the attacking front.

Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were once again below par. Seven minutes were added in stoppage time but Arsenal failed in their quest to find the equalizer. The win moves Brighton up to 10th place, on 34 points whereas Arsenal are stuck where they have been for the past month, in 6th place on 45 points.
