Manchester United have looked an unstoppable force in the premier league ever since Jose Mourinho left and his replacement Ole Gunnar Solskjær took charge. The Red Devils have won all their games with Solskjær and are currently on a 6 match winning run across all competitions.United were not at their best tonight as they lost possession cheaply and looked vulnerable at the back; however, a strike at the end of first half by Marcus Rashford was enough to guarantee the Red Devils all three points. The first half saw Tottenham dominating possession and having more shots but Manchester United were able to withstand the pressure and did not allow their defense to be breached. At the 31st minute mark it appeared as if Harry Kane gave Tottenham the lead but his goal was disallowed for offside.During the final few minutes of the half, Tottenham were forced to make a change as Moussa Sissoko went down injured and had to be replaced by Erik Lamela. At the 44th minute mark Rashford took a low shot into the far corner and gave United the lead. The second half saw Tottenham coming on with an attacking mindset as they pressed hard and maintained possession. United, on the other hand, looked content with their one-goal advantage and focused on defending their slender lead. Tottenham came close to equalising on many occasions but David De Gea ensured that his goal post was well protected. At the end of 90 minutes, Tottenham had better possession stats and more shots on target but it was Manchester United who took all three points as David De Gea was too strong on the day to be beaten.Manchester United with this win get level on points with Arsenal and are only separated on goal difference. Tottenham, on the other hand, squandered their chance to move up to the second place for the time being and are now only a point clear of fourth-placed Chelsea.A look how the Twitterverse reacted to Manchester United's away win against Tottenham Hotspur:Sorry Spurs But pic.twitter.com/7kIET8GOCe— Troll Football (@TrollFootball) January 13, 2019The Manchester United stars cooked Spurs at Wembley 🍽️ pic.twitter.com/z5hdY7oN7G— B/R Football (@brfootball) January 13, 2019David De Gea made 11 saves against Spurs, the most saves by a goalkeeper in a single Premier League game this season.Dave saves and saves again. 👐 pic.twitter.com/bkzKYSYIKP— Squawka Football (@Squawka) January 13, 2019Spurs today... pic.twitter.com/JTIs68Gjvl— Paddy Power (@paddypower) January 13, 2019FT: Spurs 0-1 UnitedTactical masterclass ✅Three points ✅Clean sheet ✅Back in the top 4 hunt ✅Rashford goal ✅Pogba assist ✅De Gea heroics ✅ Ole’s at the wheel ✅ LOVE UNITED, WE DO! 🇾🇪🔥 #MUFC pic.twitter.com/wegkwIektA— United Xtra (@utdxtra) January 13, 2019At half time I would not have thought De Gea would be in contention for man of the match!
