Twitter reacts after Real Madrid lose 1-0 to Villarreal at home in La Liga

Real Madrid lost their second consecutive game at the Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga as Villarreal came away with all three points thanks to a 1-0 win on Saturday. The Yellow Submarine scored the only goal of the game in the 87th minute to seal the win thanks to Pablo Fornals.

A Real Madrid corner saw Villarreal win the ball and initiate a counter-attack. Although Keylor Navas made a save from Enes Unal, Fornals was on hand to chip the rebound over the keeper and find the back of the net.

The result puts more pressure on Zinedine Zidane with Real still 16 points behind having played the same number of games as Barcelona.
