Barcelona continues their fine form in LaLiga as they beat Levante 5-0.Lionel Messi scored three goals and provided two assists in their win against Levante. The little magician was involved in all of Barcelona's five goals and scored a perfect rating of ten in his second consecutive La Liga game.Levante were performing better as compared to Barcelona in the opening 20 minutes of the game, but they missed the chance to take the lead when Emmanuel Boateng hit a shot on the crossbar with less than half an hour on the clock. Levante had their appeal for handball neglected before Boateng's shot hit the crossbar. The replays clearly showed that the ball had hit the arm of Barcelona's defender.Bardhi's error in handling the ball near the box was the reason for the first goal. The little magician dribbled past two defenders and provided a nice assist to Luis Suarez, who scored through a fantastic volley. The Argentine scored his first and second goals of the game with help from Sergio Busquets.Messi and Co. didn't stop there and scored three more goals before the final whistle. The 31-year-old combined two goals with only a quarter-hour passing after the beginning of the second half. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner added the second assist to his name at the end of the second half. With the hattrick against Levante, Messi became the first player to score 50 goals in 2018, which is praiseworthy. It seems that the forward is not going to stop anytime soonIt was an all-around performance from Valverde's men as they topped the LaLiga table and went three points clear of league runner-ups Sevilla. Barcelona still have a long way to go as we are only halfway through the LaLiga and Champions League knockout stages are yet to begin.Camp Nou faithful will hope that Messi continues to perform as he did against Levante and make Barcelona the best club in the world again.Fans praised the Argentine on Twitter and here are some of the best tweets:Its clear Messi is the GOAT In All things Messi🐐❤ is better than Ronaldo pic.twitter.com/bD5OSF1ZBo— DaNYal LaGhaRi (@DanyalLaghari) December 17, 2018Derby win, press box debut and now a Messi hattrick.
