Harry Kane was the hero for Tottenham yet again

St. Totteringham’s day has been cancelled. Tottenham Hotspur defeated Arsenal 2-0 in the last ever North London Derby to be played at White Hart Lane, which confirmed that the Lilywhites will finish above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years.

Dele Alli opened the scoring in the 55th minute after he responded to a scramble in the box with a neat finish. Just 146 seconds later, Harry Kane made it 2-0 from the penalty spot, after Gabriel fouled the Englishman, although replays showed the contact had been minimal.

Here’s how Twitter reacted:

The first half wasn’ t the best, although Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen missed some great chances...

And then Dele Alli and Kane scored to spark the game into life
