With the current crest being in use for 20 seasons, Leeds United unveiled their new crest today and it's not gone the way they expected it.Their new crest will be used from the start of the 2018/19 season. The fresh design has the club name in bold text and a person doing the 'The Leeds United salute'.But judging from the fans reaction, they will be way too early. The fans have already started a petition to stop the club from using this crest. Within an hour, the Change.org petition got over 10,000 signnatures and the numbers are only increasing. Here's how Twitter reacted:Nice to see #PES2 still providing inspiration to this day... 😉 pic.twitter.com/edCDZSNLRb— Pro Evolution Soccer (@officialpes) January 24, 2018Which is better?RT - my badge Like - Leeds badge @FlackOllie pic.twitter.com/IOrO6yl4B2— Ollie Slack (@ol14__) January 24, 2018Loving the new Leeds Badge #LUFC pic.twitter.com/Vi7e7137z1— London's First (@CFCboogs) January 24, 2018Even Newell's Old Boys badge is better than the new Leeds United badge. pic.twitter.com/MEfYp5BbCV— Matt Lynch (@mattlyynch) January 24, 2018The new Leeds badge was designed to last them the next 100 years... can't see it lasting the day— Peter Staunton (@petermstaunton) January 24, 2018Pretty much... pic.twitter.com/DULiOl5bYW— Footy Accumulators (@FootyAccums) January 24, 201812:02: Leeds United unveil new crest after consultation with 10,000 people13:34: Over 10,000 people sign petition calling on club to stop the new design pic.twitter.com/V4Gflfll5K— Football Trolls & Jokes (@FootyTrollJokes) January 24, 2018The new #LUFC badge is extremely, extremely Local Mixed Martial Arts Initiative For Badly Behaved Teens. pic.twitter.com/kp61b70VpA— MUNDIAL (@MundialMag) January 24, 2018Botch job, made in 10 minutes using snapchat, never been to Yorkshire, not even a leeds fan, still think it's a better badge !
