The United Arab Emirates’ highly talented international Omar Abdulrahman, has been offered a trial by Premier League side Arsenal, according to the Daily Mirror.

21-year-old Abdulrahman who had a fine showing at last year’s Olympics, has attracted the attention of quite a few European clubs. The player currently represents Al-Ain in the UAE, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hopeful that he can convince the young starlet to move to London.

The news of Arsenal’s interest in Abdulrahman was confirmed by Al Ain’s deputy chairman Rashid bin Mubarak Al Hajri.

“Have we had an offer from Arsenal for him to come train? Then yes,” Al Hajri is quoted in the Mirror. “We’ve also had offers from Spanish teams, and other teams also, but the player will decide ultimately.”

“We got a lot of offers for Omar. If he finds the right environment, then we will be very supportive. It’s a package that will have to be right, where he can improve his football. I’ll leave that for Omar – that’s for him to decide.”

Al Ain though are yet to give the green light for the deal as they continue to negotiate with Abdulrahman in an attempt to try and convince him to stay.
