UEFA-AFC to sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) will tomorrow at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together for the promotion of football.

AFC Acting President Zhang Jilong and the UEFA President Michel Platini will put pen to paper on the Memorandum of Understanding for the two continental confederations.

FIFA Vice-President and AFC Executive Committee member HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, AFC Vice-President HRH Tengku Abdullah Ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah, UEFA Vice-Presidents Senes Erzik and Marios N Lefkartis will also be in attendance at the signing ceremony.

Especially for the AFC, the MoU will be of use to further develop the game across the Asian continent.
