Usain Bolt, also known as the fastest man alive, believes Louis van Gaal is not the right man to lead his beloved club, Manchester United and the Jamaican is not happy with United’s performance.

Manchester United haven’t had the best of times since they last won the Premier League. The club hasn’t been the same since their legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson left the post and the team brought in two managers but have not tasted success.

United are in danger of losing out on the Champions League as they are currently fifth in the league, four points behind cross-city rivals, Manchester City, who have played an extra game.

Van Gaal has faced constant criticism from both fans and pundits for his tactics and their overall style of play. Like most fans, Bolt is also upset with his team’s dismal displays.

Bolt was quoted saying, “It (the season) has been up and down – I wouldn’t say I’m happy.”

“I think a lot of players don’t want to come to the team under Van Gaal, I think the players don’t want to play for him.”

The sprinter also had a few words about the playing style that Manchester United have taken up under the Dutch manager, “He plays a different style of football which Manchester United doesn’t really play. We are more of an attacking team and he likes to pass the ball.

“I’m not saying he’s not a good coach but, personally, I just think he’s not right for Manchester United.”

The Jamaican believes that Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp would have been a bigger hit keeping the performance of his Liverpool team in mind.

Bolt added, “I actually wanted to see Klopp, the Liverpool coach, because when we had Sir Alex Ferguson we were more of an attacking team and Klopp is an attacking coach, he really plays attacking football.”

Liverpool have done well under the tutelage of Klopp as they booked a place in the Europa League Final by beating Villareal at home. If Liverpool wins the Europa League they qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Despite the fact that he is retiring at the end of the 2016 Olympics this summer, Bolt refused to rule out the possibility of representing Manchester United one day. He further added, “If I got a chance to play for the team, I would love to play for them, even if it just one game.

“It would be great because it is my favourite team. I have supported them for years so if I got a chance to play one or two matches I’d be happy.”
