Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has come up with yet another hilarious gimmick and this time they chose to help a few Arsenal players silence their trolls on Twitter rather than hiring planes to fly banners or install a statue of a certain team’s sacked Scottish manager at a rival club.
Paddy Power printed three nasty tweets from Arsenal fans and showed them to the players concerned.
One fan thought that milk turns faster than “BFG” Per Mertesacker. The fan was proved wrong when Mertesacker proved that he could turn faster than milk after all. Who knew?
Another fan wasn’t too impressed with Lukas Podolski’s shooting skills and claimed that the forward couldn’t even hit something as big as a barn door. Did Podolski succeed?
And finally one fan thought his grandmother could take a penalty better than Mikel Arteta. Was the fan right?
