Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi had to apologise to the club after he was seen running in front of a bull dressed as Batman at a festival in Azpeitia, his native Basque Country.
The midfielder could be seen wearing a Batman costume in this video while wearing a Batman costume and darting in front of the beast right in the middle of the street.
When asked about the incident, manager Carlo Ancelotti said, “There is a disciplinary code like at any club so players avoid doing anything dangerous. It’s the first time I’ve seen a player run with bulls. He has apologised and I don’t think he’ll do it again.”
