Borussia Dortmund have recovered their fine form which made them one of the most feared teams in Europe during Jurgen Klopp’s reign. And two players that have been integral to Dortmund this season are Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The two players share a close bond off the field two and a recent video of them engaging in a pre warm up dance shows just how strong that bond is. Despite beginning last season strongly with a win over arch rivals Bayern Munich in the DFL Supercup, their season slowly took a down curve, with the club facing a strong prospect of relegation, before four consecutive wins erased that possibility.

So bad was Dortmund’s fall from grace that their respected manager – Jurgen Klopp, now managing Liverpool, decided that he would step down from his duties at the end of the season after guiding Dortmund to two Bundesliga titles, one German Cup, and two DFL Supercups – in a glittering seven-year reign as manager.

However, Dortmund have seen a resurgence under new manager Thomas Tuchel this season and sit eight points adrift of Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, with Aubameyang being a major contributor this season with an astonishing 17 goals in 14 league appearances. It has also put him on the radar of some of Europe’s elite clubs.

Dortmund’s vice-captain Marco Reus is no pushover either and has netted 5 goals in 8 league appearances so far, which has also caused the big boys to sit up and take notice. Both players will undoubtedly receive several offers from Europe’s top clubs when the summer transfer window opens for business, but it remains to be seen if they go their separate ways.

Judging by their synchronised dance and camaraderie, that prospect seems unlikely.
