Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria is clearly a fan of cricket and is following the World Cup very keenly, which was made clear by his actions during last night’s match against Liverpool.

After the United defence cleared the ball, the ball was high up in the air, and Di Maria was tracking it’s flight. However, he managed to do judge the ball’s trajectory to perfection and caught it, even before it went out of play!

What made this entire sequence even more funny was the fact that he wasn’t booked for it, despite it being a clear instance of handball, even if it wasn’t meant to be that way.

What is clear though is that he is a fan of the game of cricket. If only someone could ask him which team he thinks will win the Cricket World Cup!
