Video: Croatia confident ahead of World Cup clash with Serbia

Croatia will be looking for all three points against neighbours Serbia on Friday as they look to secure an automatic place at the World Cup in Brazil next summer.

They currently trail leaders Belgium by three points after a shock home defeat to Scotland in Zagreb in June.

Igor Stimac, Croatia manager:

“I think that if Croatia plays on their position and with the players who are in a good shape then we should worry less about our opponents than they should worry about us. I am concentrating more on how my players will finish the task I put in front of them in the easiest and the most painless way.”

Darijo Srna, Croatia captain:

“I expect the Serbia team tomorrow to be aggressive from the first minute and offensive like they were in the match against Belgium. We fully respect the Serbian team, they have many great players and a great coach and, of course, they have a huge responsibility tomorrow towards the Serbian nation and Serbian supporters to beat Croatia. This is not just any game, I know how we felt before the match at Maksimir Sadium in Zagreb and how much pressure we felt to win that game.”
