“Well, we can’t anticipate anything, since we have to qualify ourselves. Tomorrow, three teams can qualify. I can only answer about Italy after the match. Let’s qualify first. We have to take the corner and then score (not the other way around.)”

Vicente del Bosque, Spain Head Coach (On Brazil performance at Confed Cup)

“Well, Brazil are a very tough team. Strong defensively, not giving their opponents any chances of a goal. I haven’t seen the latest match but, in the last games, they have played very strongly in defence and with the quality they have up front. It’s not a team that attacks aggressively, leaving you defending but it’s powerful at counter attacks.”

“We will have a change against Nigeria. The starting goalkeeper will be Victor Valdes. the rest of the team will be similar to the one in the first match against Uruguay. But we have many options. In One hand, it’s a problem for us, but, on the other, we have the advantage of choosing so many players (to start a match).”

“I wish Pep Guardiola all the best. He’s a Spanish coach who’s gone to work in a foreign country, in the Bundesliga, and we wish him all the best. I believe he will be at the top because first, he’s very skilled, and second, because he has a very good team.”
