Footgolf is a new yet growing sport where the players have to kick a football into a cup in as few shots as possible, and just as the name suggests, the game takes inspiration from both football and golf. Played in golf courses, the first Footgolf World Cup was held in Budapest, Hungary where eight countries viz. Hungary, Argentina, Belgium, Greece, Netherlands, Italy, Mexico and USA participated.
Legends such as Frank de Boer, Ruud Gullit, Roy Makaay, Juan Sebastian Veron and many others have tried their hands in this sport.
