23-year-old Gerso Fernandes who is currently on loan at Moreirense scored one of this year’s craziest goals during a league encounter against Gil Vicente in Portugal’s top flight league.

Fernandes’ technique to control the ball, and then volleying it in from an impossible angle is what makes the goal special. This was the first goal of the match before Fernandes’ teammate Arsenio sealed the victory for Moreirense with a second.
