With a brace from Spaniard Alvaro Morata and a goal from Welsh Gareth Bale, Real Madrid end their La Liga campaign on a high with a 3-1 victory over Espanyol. It was Bale who opened the scoring with 15th league goal of the season, while Morata who came on as a substitute later made sure the Los Blancos take home three points.
Afonso Fernandes was the only scorer for Espanyol.
